When I think of MHS graduations, I remember the actual graduation and presentation of diplomas at Southside Baptist Church with seniors dressed in long white dresses and carrying red roses. I'd sort of forgotten about the accompanying baccalaureate ceremony each year at the school with girls marching up the front steps, seniors wearing short white dresses.
